Homeowner support, every step

Answers when you need them most

Got questions about roof emergencies, repairs, or insurance? We’re here to clear up confusion and help you feel confident—no jargon, just real answers from real experts.

What should I do after a storm?

First, stay safe and check for visible damage from the ground. Don’t climb on your roof. Take photos, document everything, and contact us for guidance. We’ll help you connect with trusted pros and start your claim.

How do I know if my roof is damaged?

Look for leaks, missing shingles, or debris. If you’re unsure, schedule an inspection. Our team can help you get a professional assessment so you’re not left guessing.

Will my insurance cover roof repairs?

Coverage depends on your policy and the cause of damage. We’ll help you review your policy, document the issue, and advocate for you if your claim is denied or underpaid.

How do you choose contractors?

Every contractor in our network is s, licensed, and reviewed for quality. We only recommend pros who meet our strict standards—no shortcuts, no shady operators.

Does Roof Roof replace my insurance?

Nope. Roof Roof isn’t insurance. We work for you to make sure you get a complete and fair claim settlement. Our team handles the phone calls, the paperwork, reviews settlement offers, coordinates repairs with qualified contractors, and helps you secure financial assistance when it matters most.

How do you handle properties with older roofs?

Your policy decides what your insurance company pays. We always recommend avoiding policies with “ACV” (Actual Cash Value) coverage, “Depreciated Roof Settlement” endorsements, or “Roof Settlement Schedules.” Combined with Florida’s high deductibles, these policies can leave you stuck with costs even Roof Roof can’t fully cover.

What does my Roof Roof membership cover?

Your membership gets you a team of caring experts to help you prepare for and recover from Florida’s storms. We file, manage, and expedite your claim using decades of industry experience to get you a fast, fair settlement and top-quality repairs from Florida’s best contractors. We also help you find, apply for, and secure financial assistance from charities, foundations, and federal, state, and local relief agencies.

Can I cancel my membership anytime?

Yes. We want you to feel the value of Roof Roof, not feel stuck. We’ve priced membership as low as possible to keep it accessible to every Florida homeowner. We do ask for an annual commitment. If you cancel mid-year (like right after hurricane season ends), you’ll get a prorated refund, but you won’t be eligible to rejoin for a year, and rejoining will require a full annual payment. This isn’t to punish anyone. It keeps Roof Roof stable for all members who rely on us for peace of mind.

What happens if my insurance company denies my claim?

Claim denials happen, but they’re not the end of the road. We’ll re-inspect your damage, gather what’s missing, and push back hard for you. We escalate when needed and explore every option under your policy to get what you’re owed, no more, no less. If additional help is needed, we’ll talk it through and connect you with trusted professionals. Our job isn’t done until your home is fully restored.

Will you help if my roof was recently replaced?

Absolutely. New roofs handle storms better, but nothing is storm-proof. Members with newer roofs often know how stressful the claims process is, and they appreciate having our expertise to ease that frustration and headache.

How fast can I get help after a storm?

Immediately. The sooner we file your claim, the sooner your home can be repaired and your life gets back to normal. Storms create a flood of claims, and our ability to file quickly, document accurately, and communicate clearly with your carrier makes a huge difference. We keep you updated every step so you’re never left wondering what’s happening.

Will you still help if I’m in a high-risk zone?

Florida is high-risk overall, and some areas are officially designated “high risk.” We don’t shy away from helping in those areas, but memberships are limited to keep growth balanced across the state. That way, we always have enough staff and resources ready to respond when storms hit.

What’s the benefit of joining now vs. after a storm?

Joining before a storm hits means no delays, no waiting periods, and immediate access to our team. After a storm, membership typically closes so we can focus on helping existing members first. New memberships after a storm are limited and only offered at Roof Roof’s discretion.

What if I already have a roofing contractor I trust?

Roof Roof membership requires us to assign a qualified, licensed, and insured contractor for your repairs. This ensures fast, high-quality work for all members. If you have a roofer you trust, send us their info. We’ll check their license, insurance, and qualifications. We’re always looking to add the best Florida contractors to our team, and our members know who’s good.

Does Roof Roof only help with storm damage?

Roof Roof is built to help after storms, but our team is always here to answer your insurance questions and provide guidance whenever you need it.

How do I know if I qualify for membership?

Qualification mostly comes down to owning a home with homeowners insurance that fits what we do. We’ll review your policy details, including coverage and insurer, to make sure we can step in effectively when you need us. If something doesn’t fit, we’ll be upfront. Our licensed Florida insurance agents can help adjust your coverage or work with your current agent to qualify. We only accept members we know we can truly help.
